A collection of some 6000+ odd comic books by Dr. Sandeep Kate is probably the only one of its kind in Maharashtra and is the result of more than 20 years of travel, collection, and preservation.
With the growing collection of comic books, he began to view them differently, not simply as narrative and story material but in terms of their social, cultural, and historical relevance. There will definitely be some archival value for this collection, if not monetary value.
